Hand Wash

Wash in cold water with mild detergent. Wash indigo items separately to prevent color bleeding.

Line Dry

Wring out clothes, roll in a towel, and hang dry in the shade.

Machine Wash

Hand wash or use delicate cold cycle. Use wash bags for fragile items.

Ironing

If you like ironing, make sure to iron your clothes inside out. Be extra careful with fabrics like Jamdani and chikankari embroidery to avoid damaging the patterns.

Dry Clean

Some clothes need to be dry cleaned because of their colors or weaves. Air dry these clothes first to freshen them up before dry cleaning only when necessary.
